Once you have prepared the car and have completed the observations and considered the signal it is time for the move part of the routine.

Release the handbrake, apply more revs if needed as the revs will have dropped slightly when finding the bite and bring the clutch up slowly in pound coin width increments, usually 2-3 small pound coin movements until the clutch is up fully apply more gas where needed.  Steer in to a safety line about half a meter to a meter from the kerb depending on the width of the road and look well ahead.

This routine in that order will provide the student with a safe approach to moving off.
